Jinhee Joung was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Growing up as first generation, Jinhee watched her parents struggle with various jobs just to put food on the table. As she watched them build their business, Jinhee vowed to work as hard and as passionately at everything she did

From a young age Jinhee stayed active in theater, choir, and art. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Communications and Business. Due to the lack of film/television community on campus, Jinhee drove 3 hours once a week to Austin where she took acting classes.  She moved to Los Angeles in 2012.

Jinhee's favorite hobbies include karaoking, eating, reading, and hiking with her dog.
